One Night Only!!! Celebrate Australia’s Best Young Chefs, Waiters & Restaurateurs at Public, 4th Feb 2013

For one night only some of the brightest young culinary stars will come together to create “Whet Your Appetite”, a dinner celebrating the best of the season and the young chefs, waiters and restaurateurs of the Electrolux Appetite for Excellence Awards. The dinner will be held at Public CBD where the 2012 Electrolux Australian young chef winner Stewart Wesson is in residence.

The talented South Australian chefs, waiter and restaurateur from what’s considered Australia’s preeminent hospitality awards will be joined by past and present winners to showcase their food philosophies, cooking skills and front of house professionalism in this one-off showcase event.
The menu created by the chefs, waiters and restaurateur working as a collaborative will include three courses with matched beverages. The team includes:

Melanie Gowers, Adelaide Convention Centre 2007 Electrolux Australian Young Chef winner
Richard Ousby, Stokehouse, Brisbane 2011 Electrolux Australian Young Chef winner
Stewart Wesson, Public CBD, Adelaide 2012 Electrolux Australian Young Chef winner

This unique event provides the opportunity for these skilled young people to bring their vision, commitment and passion for great food and expert service to life. It also gives guests the opportunity to get to know the next generation of hospitality leaders and offers a sneak peek into what the future holds for Australia’s restaurant industry. Bon Appetit!
